LGBTQ Community Center

The transformation of a 3’300 square meter, BFM, 19th century building in the city centre of Geneva, Switzerland; which harnessed the hydraulic power of the river Rhône to provide water all other the city; into a LGBTQ Community and Integration Centre. Creation of a centre based on inclusions and community through a multi-functional space.

The goal of this thesis is to create an interaction of the needed programs with the architecture itself and create more of an inclusion and better connection with the rest of the city. A merge between seriousness, support, community and art.

Through the three themes of  Family, Identity  and Community, the concept was based on three key words: Gathering, Integration and Grounding.
